The Entity Register is one of the two main interfaces to the stapeliads.net database. While

PAN deals mainly with scientific publications, botanical nomenclature and every aspect of the present taxonomical classification of stapeliads, the Entity Register deals with the actual plants.

Here you will find images, cultivation notes and information about existing specimens belonging to the Stapeliads. Entries are assigned a unique "SI" code (which designates and identifies a single cultivated specimen or natural and uniform population of plants).


How to use it

• if you know the SI code of a plant or population, just digit it in the "SI" space below and press enter.
• On the other hand, if you are looking for all SI entities currently determined under a certain name, digit that name in the "taxon" box and press enter.
• Last you can use the left bar menu to browse through all existing SI entities.
